Romanian Red was brought to British Columbia from Romania.  This garlic usually has 4-5 cloves per bulb.  Great to cook with as the garlic skins are very easy to remove.  Romanian is said to yield the greatest amount of the healthy stuff, Allicin.  We love this garlic.  When cooked, it has a great garlic flavor.  When eaten raw, which we do, slightly strong.  Otherwise, yummy!
