Purple Stripe are the most attractive looking garlics due to their purple stripes and beautiful coloring. 

As they are very flavorful, they are usually the winners for "best baked garlic".   We love them! 

Most strains have 8-12 cloves per bulb (a bit more than Rocambole). 

Clove size is slightly smaller, but they store longer than Rocamboles and peel just as easy.
